Skaters First

In 2016, we were approached by the new owners of a skating school in Aurora to update their website. The site the previous owners had left them was old and inconsistent. Some pages were embedded PDF files, some were narrow, some were wide, and their information was not secure. They requested that we give their website a new look and feel, with the ability to update certain things themselves.

Since the old site was unsalvageable, we threw it out completely and started from scratch. Within two months we'd created a modern website, built from the ground up to display well on all devices while being extremely easy to use. We launched the new Skaters First website with a fully featured registration and payment system, as well as a robust backend system that provides full control over what classes are offered and how they run, and information on who has registered for each one. It is the first search result for aurora skating school, and is on the first page for aurora skating and other related search terms.
